The best way to learn social is to just do it. But most of us who feel comfortable with it have benefitted from a little mentorship and guidance to "turn on the lightbulb" so we can understand the opportunities and risks and head in the right direction.

Sociallogical is just about ready to launch the first in our series of online courses designed to help people understand how social media fits into business and how to best apply it uniquely to each environment and audience.

But we're developing the course a little differently: socially.

Limited Group for First Course Run

On April 26th, Sociallogical will start a 3-night offering of the first course in order for us to know if the course works for you. We want your feedback and we want to see when something we've shared with you "turns on the lightbulb" and helps you understand social media in a way that is useful for you.

We are looking for 10 people from a business environment who don't yet feel comfortable with social media but really want to. The cost is $100 per person for the 10 people chosen to take part and it includes delicious munchies from three of the finest (and most social) restaurants in Saint John.

  • Evening 1: How did we get here - background, evolution, what’s next? Apr26 - Urban Deli, 7-9pm.
  • Evening 2: Social Media Toolbox - what it is, platforms and what they can do May3 - Saint John Ale House, 7-9pm
  • Evening 3: The Social Business - 2-way vs. 1-way and What is success on social (more than marketing and PR) May10 - Opera Bistro, 7-9pm.

The evenings will be facilitated by Greg Fleet, Jeff Roach, Craig Allen and Chris London.

Please complete the short form below so we can find the first 10 people to run the first course with. We will select the first 10 by April 23 and we'll let you know through email. We'll be taking your feedback, modifying the course to make it as useful and engaging as possible, and releasing it as a mentor-facilitated online learning course available to everyone - with your help.
